DataMart Direct’s new HP Indigo 7000 Digital Press is the most technologically advanced sheet fed digital solution on the market today.  It handles high volume production of static jobs as well as Variable Data Print campaigns with ease.

Sharp images, vivid color and gloss uniformity are the standard not the norm for this new press (release in June 2008).  With HP Indigo ElectroInk liquid ink, the press produces offset and true photo quality.   Offering up to 7- color printing the HP Indigo 7000 provides the widest digital color array with 4, 6 or 7 colors Pantone® emulation including Pantone-Goe®.  Color capabilities include special spot colors, created through the HP Indigo Ink Mixing System. This allows us to offer you an accurate match for all of your corporate branding and custom color requirements, matching up to 97% of PANTONE® colors.

The HP Indigo 7000 also supports a variety of substrates.  The press operates best with coated paper weights between 55 lb. text to 120 lb. cover and uncoated weights of 40 lb. text to 120 lb cover.  The thickness of these papers should be between 3-16 PT.

Not only does this press handle an array of different papers with ease but it is designed with several features that are environmentally friendly and also help to reduce cost:
• Power consumption reduction of 25% per printed page compared to previous presses.
• An imaging oil recycling system, enabling a reduction of approximately 50% in consumption and waste.
• Longer lifespan consumables result in the generation of fewer waste materials.

The HP Indigo 7000 is a great addition to DataMart Direct’s capabilities.  We are looking forward to utilizing its faster speeds and offset quality to continue to serve our customers better.  Plus the new sheet size capability of 13”x19” will allow us to produce 6”x9” postcards with bleed, 4-up (4 on a page).  This will reduce cost and speed production.
